Is my car compatible with CarPlay remote activation?

Works on VAG Group vehicles from 2015 — VW, Audi, Seat, Cupra, Skoda, Porsche — MIB2 (MHI2, MHS2, MST2, MH2P, MHI2Q, MS2P) and MIB3 (MOI3, MEN2, MEN3, MHI3, MPR3).

Do I need to take my car to a workshop?

No. Fully remote. Windows laptop + TeamViewer + 32GB SD card.
